Just got out of the black hole that was Fatehpur Sikri. It was an exciting five days and we met a lot of interesting people (mostly French!), but we couldn't connect to the internet ANYWHERE!
The experience was very enriching, and before we left the guest house, the owner gave me and a new friend, Laurianne, a necklace of tiger-eye stones :)
The place was very contrasting and made us feel good one minute and bad the next. Good because of all the spiritual and kind persons around the guest house, and bad because of all the kids used by their parents to ask for money or pens and tickets they can sell to tourists later.
The overall impression was peaceful and serene.
We are still happy that we left today to continue on our adventure. We hope to be able to show you the Fatehpur sikri that we discovered as soon as possible (fingers crossed)!
We are at an internet cafe in Gwalior and they don't have wifi or cables for laptops, so we cannot upload the pictures at the moment.
Nous vous envoyons plein de bisous, mwahugs sa mga kamag-anak at kaibigan, and we'll be back ASAP :)
